OMAHA, January 26, 2018 – Thom Sisson, an Omaha resident, has announced he is running for Metropolitan Community College Board of Governors – At Large.
“I am running in this election for the commitment of delivering a voice of change from the current situation. We need fresh faces and innovative ideas to come forward to encourage a higher standard of education among our students. All my life I wanted to help people in need and that is what I have tried to do. But after some life changing events, I have concluded that I am ready to serve in a larger capacity, on a larger stage.”

About Thom Sisson – Thom is the Payroll Coordinator for a local trucking company. He is also a Notary Public for the State of Nebraska and is an Accredited Notary for the Consulate General of the Philippines in Chicago. Thom serves as the Webmaster on his local homeowners’ association board and volunteers with the Nebraska Sports Council as Sports Director for the WalkOMAHA event of the Cornhusker State Games for the last 5 years.
