Who Is Thom Sisson?Well, Thom is the Payroll Coordinator for W. N. Morehouse Truck line, Inc. He is also a Public Notary for the State of Nebraska. He graduated from North St. Francois County High School in 1997, and went on to Midwest Training Centers to get his Class A CDL.
Born in Clayton, MO on Christmas Day of '78, he spent only a year and half in the big city of St. Louis and then moved with his grandparents to Bonne Terre. He was Baptized Catholic at St. Andrew's in St. Louis and attended St. Joseph's Catholic Elementary up to sixth grade, where he then attended Public School at North County. He started work at the age of 16 at That Pizza Place, a St. Louis Style Pizza joint in his home town.
At the age of twenty-one, he went to driving school and got his CDL and followed a dream he had since he was nine years old when his uncle Ralph gave him the advice to get his CDL, and he would never be with out a job. He drove for several companies until he found his home at Morehouse. After four years of service, he was offered a position in the office and he took it.
He married Rio Mazo in August of 2006. He met Rio via correspondence and use of the Internet while she was living in the Philippines. He traveled to Manila in October of 2005 where they fell in love and promised to love one another forever. He vowed, just as Douglas MacArthur did, "I shall return!" Hopefully that will come true soon. Rio was granted a Fiance Visa in May of 2006 and traveled to the USA to be with her Babycow (that's was her little nickname for him). Six months earlier he gave her access to her very own web site. You can see it and more information about Thom and Rio at the menu link to the left.
Now a resident of Omaha, Thom joined St. Gerald's in Ralston and started to look for ways to help the community out. Because of his limited abilities, he decided to get certified as a Public Notary. Also because of his wife and his journey for a Green Card, he offers help with folks filling out Immigration Forms for others to become legal citizens of the United States. He specializes in Fil/Am relationships and can help with the fiance visa process for Filipino/western couples.
Hopefully after establishing himself into the community, he wants to be elected to public office so that he can continue helping his new friends and neighbors. Maybe this will be the start of a common American's road to the White House. It's about time for someone who hasn't spent his whole life in Washington to run the country.
